We Will Worship and We Will Reign: a Post From Dial In Ministries

When many think about heaven, they might picture people in white robes with wings and harps, flying on clouds, perpetually playing music and singing to God forever and ever without end. I have no idea where this unfortunate view of paradise came from, but it's certainly not Biblical.
The Bible actually doesn't say a lot on the subject. Yet, it still gives us a glimpse into our eternal state: worshipping God and reigning with Christ.
Jonny Ardavanis shows us what Scripture actually says about this, and it should certainly be encouraging for the believer.
He reminds us that in light of all we have to expect, living for this world alone is outright silly.
I think that it's a given that we ought to seek Christ's work in this life. But to seek to build kingdoms that might last a handful of years after we ourselves are gone is a vain endeavor.
So we look forward to what we have waiting, an eternity with God.
I hope you'll find this post to be helpful today.
