Soft Hearts, Solid Spines: An Article From Ligonier

It's troubling that the emphasis in online "discussion" of Christian things is often on being as click-worthy as possible. And generally that means that regardless of what is said, it is many times sandwiched between something angry or cruel. Gotta be a macho-man, right?

And yet, one of Jesus' greatest emphases was on love, especially among believers.

Today's share is an article from Ligonier dealing with this idea. Jesus didn't tell His followers that the world would know them by how witty their comebacks were or how insulting their comments could be, but that they would know us by how we love one another.

This, of course, must be tempered with the very real fact that error must be confronted with truth. But as I've said before, are we more concerned with being "right" than we are helping along another brother or sister in Christ?

I hope you'll find it helpful.
