Why Should I Read the Bible, and Why Should I Study it?

Hopefully this week we've seen the importance of being obedient to God by reading His word. We've also learned that we can trust His word. But, still, the question can linger: why?

Today, I'm simply going to share an article from Got Questions I feel answers that question well.

Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 3 that the Scriptures are useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. Peter tells us it is the prophetic word made more sure (2 Peter 1:19). In Psalm 19 and 119, we learn many reasons to read the Bible.
