Uniformitarianism: Proven Science, or Ulterior Motive?

Answers in Genesis Canada has been producing a series of videos documenting the rise of secular views on science and how it has undermined older, more Christian views on the subject.

While at surface level it might sound like a conspiracy theory, something I am not personally apt towards, when you read the quotes from some of the biggest thinkers behind the movement, it becomes evident that many of them were not acting solely out of a "love for science".

Instead of sharing just one, I couldn't decide which of these two most recent videos I liked better, so it'll be a double portion today, both touching on the idea of uniformitarianism.

These two consecutive episodes can be seen here and here.

So are Christians making more out of this than they should? Somehow, I don't think so.
