Friday Share... On a Thursday. "Hope for the Sluggish Soul": An ACBC Post on Repentance

It can happen to any of us. Before you know it we start to become dull to sin and conviction. It's a dangerous place to be.


This post from ACBC talks about this from a counseling perspective. I really appreciate the grace in this approach; it can be easy to quickly condemn sin, but not rejoice with those who truly do repent.


May we be on guard against, and may God protect us from, the many snares that are in our paths as Christians.


And may we have soft hearts as the Holy Spirit convicts us when we do sin, so that we would run towards repentance. And may God help us as we counsel those with hard hearts.
