Four Views of the End Times

Recently, I wrote a post on the essentials of eschatology (the study of last things). There is a lot of debate on the topic, but there are core aspects that all orthodox Christians have held to, regardless of their position. With that being the case, Christians shouldn't divide over this branch of doctrine.

But there are still different views! And it can be confusing to keep up with them.

So, I thought it would be helpful to link to a few articles, mostly from Got Questions, that briefly explain the four primary views of the end times.

To close, I really think it's good to at least be aware of the other views, even if you strongly hold to one in particular. I also think it's good to have a view. But the primary thing is that we don't let our differences over secondary issues divide us.

Instead, as we look to the return of Christ, may we live with eager expectation, purity, and a heart for the lost, that they would know Jesus.
