I live in a state with a lot of vineyards. People love to go to those, though personally, I couldn't care less. Not that you asked.

But vineyards do serve as a bit of a reminder of Jesus' words in John 15. He is the vine, we are the branches. And apart from Him, we can do nothing.

It's such a simple concept, but one we can easily forget. We can't do the Christian life apart from God.
